I can't help it. I like expensive things. This weekend, I discovered something new and dangerous: raw oysters.

I've been wanting to hit up Santa Monica Seafood's oyster bar for a while now, but I've always wanted an occasion to go.

On a spontaneous trip up to San Francisco, we went to Plant, an organic "farm to table" cafe right next to the water. We split veggie juices, sipped on french pressed coffee, had brunch...and *whoop whoop!* a plate of oysters.

Prepping the first one is serious business...
